Der Gerbermeister Christian Lemmerich (1862-1932) geh\u00f6rte dazu. Seit 1866 gab es dort den von Wilhelm Adolf Lette gegr\u00fcndeten Verein zur F\u00f6rderung der Erwerbst\u00e4tigkeit des weiblichen Geschlechts, kurz Lette-Verein. Zu Ausbildungsberufen vornehmlich in den Bereichen Handel und textiles Gewerbe kamen bald auch andere, z.B. Telegraphistinnen und Di\u00e4tassistentinnen hinzu. Im Jahr 1890 wurde am Letteverein die Photographische Lehranstalt gegr\u00fcndet. Die Ausbildung gliederte sich in zwei Berufsrichtungen: Fachfotografin und die wissenschaftliche Fotografin, also z.B. R\u00f6ntgenografin. Die Ausbildung war so gut, dass zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts in den Fachzeitschriften des fotografischen Berufsstandes eine bessere Ausbildung f\u00fcr die anderen &#8211; ganz \u00fcberwiegend m\u00e4nnlichen &#8211; Lehrlinge gefordert wurde. Ihre Lichtbildwerkst\u00e4tte er\u00f6ffnete sie im elterlichen Haus in der Altschmiedestra\u00dfe 5 in den Jahren 1926 oder 1927. Freischwimmbecken<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Als Fotografenmeisterin bildete Ilse Lemmerich einige Frauen zur Fotografin aus.<\/p>\n<p>Ilse Lemmerich war nach Aussagen von Nachfahren eine selbstbewusste, selbstst\u00e4ndige und kommunikative Frau. Sie war nicht verheiratet, hatte keine Kinder.
