Auch f\u00fcr den Rostocker Anzeiger arbeitete er gelegentlich als Fotograf. Ein Berufsfotograf war er jedoch nicht. Wahrscheinlich deshalb sind seine Aufnahmen und die f\u00fcr die Ansichtskarten angewandten Druckverfahren deutlich experimenteller als die der Profis.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Kotelmann wurde am 16.08.1878 in Treptow an der Tollense (heute Altentreptow) geboren.<\/p>\n<p>Von 1900 bis 1906 studierte er mehrere Semester in Rostock Pharmazie und Chemie und promovierte 1906 mit \u201eBeitr\u00e4gen zur Kenntnis des Phenyl- und p-Tolymethyl-3-pyrazolons.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Aus dieser Zeit, sehr wahrscheinlich aus dem Jahr 1902, stammt eine Fotografie, die eine Gruppe von Chemie- und Pharmaziestudenten zeigt.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2886\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2886\" style=\"width: 591px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/werner0304.alfahosting.org\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=2886\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2886\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2886\" src=\"http:\/\/werner0304.alfahosting.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/blohm-kotelmann-studenten-fo.jpg\" alt=\"Links im Bild Paul Kotelmann. Bereits 1897 machte sich Doose selbstst\u00e4ndig. Liebhaber-Photographen\u201c aus, so zum Beispiel im Jahr 1910 Fotografien des Architekten Walter Butzek (was zeitlich etwas verwundert, weil Butzek erst 1912 nach Mecklenburg, genauer G\u00fcstrow, gezogen sein soll).<br \/>\nBereits am 15.10.1926 starb Paul Kotelmann. Bis Mitte der 1930er Jahre f\u00fchrte die Witwe, Margarethe Kotelmann, das Gesch\u00e4ft fort. Es wurde 1934\/35 von Helmut Riedel \u00fcbernommen, der wohl schon einige Jahre als Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer eingesetzt war.<br \/>\nNun zu den Ansichtskarten von Kotelmann.
